Already certified? Join us at Hiri Divers for unforgettable daily fun dive trips exploring the stunning underwater world of Hiriketiya – Blue Beach in Nilwella. With small groups (max 4 divers per guide), our experienced divemasters will take you to the best dive sites, featuring vibrant coral gardens, reef pinnacles, colorful fish, turtles, rays, and the occasional blacktip reef shark. Discover unique attractions like the Nilwella Underwater Museum with sunken buses and helicopters, as well as local shipwrecks for a truly diverse diving experience.
Dive Trips for Certified Divers
At Hiri Divers, we’re lucky to be based directly on Blue Beach, Hiriketiya – Nilwella. Our boat departs right from the beach—no long transport required. Dive sites in the area feature healthy reef systems, pinnacles, soft and hard corals, shipwrecks, and excellent visibility. Most sites are just 15–20 minutes by boat, allowing us to return to the dive center between dives to relax, grab a coconut or coffee, and prepare for the next underwater journey.
Daily Dive Schedule
We organize daily dive trips with flexible timing:
8:30 am – Morning dive
11:30 am – Mid-morning dive
2:30 pm – Afternoon dive
All dives include tanks, weights, a boat ride, and a professional dive guide. Private groups and photographers can request custom schedules.

It’s been a while since your last dive? Our Reactivate program is a half-day refresher to regain confidence: 1. Review dive theory with your instructor, 2. Practice basic skills in calm, shallow waters at Blue Beach, Hiriketiya – Nilwella, 3. Enjoy an easy, guided open water dive in the afternoon. After the refresher, you’re ready for all our fun dives, night dives, and specialty adventures.
