Based on the serene shores of Hiriketiya Blue beach, near the laid back Hiriketiya bay, we invite you to discover one of Sri Lanka’s most vibrant marine areas. From first-time divers to those looking to go pro, we offer safe and exciting dive experiences for every level. Founder & Instructor
Hi, I’m Sachi — the founder of Hiri Divers and a passionate PADI Instructor. My diving journey began when I was just 11 years old, introduced to the underwater world by my father. What started as childhood curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion.

My girlfriend did her Open Water course here with Sachi. I’m a former Instructor, have worked at several dive centers and dived at more, and I have to say I was impressed by the professionalism along with the friendly vibe of this dive center. We felt as if part of a big family and didn’t get the hierarchical vibe you see in some dive centers. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Sachi took great care of my girlfriend and I during her course and was always calm and pedagogical. Couldn’t recommend this place more. 11/10

Got my Open Water Diving license here with Sachi, and I felt safe and supported throughout the whole course, even though I have a hearing impairment and was a deaf person, I had some language barriers at first, but Sachi made an effort to communicate and use sign language if possible, which helped me so much. I saw so many beautiful creatures underwater, even turtles!!! It was amazing. I also joined a boat trip with some licensed divers, and everyone was super friendly. The whole staff and diving experience was amazing. Whether you’re a beginner or already certified, I highly recommend this place!

I highly recommend this diving base, everything went great, the guys calmly approached me without any nerves, which is the most important thing here, peace of mind, successful diving 42 minutes 25 meters. I RECOMMEND 👌👌👌👌

Do I need to have any prior experience or certifications to go scuba diving?
For introductory dives like our Try Scuba Diving program, no prior experience is needed. For more advanced dives, certifications such as Open Water Diver are required.
